Our client is looking for a VP, Marketing to lead a team of event technology marketing professionals as they move into into a new phase of their company growth. The international marketing team is focused in various areas of specialization, from content writing and social media, digital strategy to events, and web design. The key objective of this role is to lead and work with this high-performing global marketing team to ensure execution of company goals, while providing day to day support, guidance and coaching.


A savvy B2B marketing executive with deep experience in driving net new revenue growth for the company. A hands-on leader, comfortable in a high-growth, SaaS environment with a history of building leading marketing capabilities across internal teams, communication channels and external market that delivers on target outcomes. As a seasoned marketer, you possess a strong data-driven approach to leverage data, analytics, and creative content to increase brand awareness, customer acquisition, and long-term customer engagement. You have a passion for building and leading a high-performance marketing team, and like to roll up your sleeves and work alongside your team when required.


• Work with the Executive Team to develop annual marketing roadmap and strategic plan that aligns to corporate roadmap and delivers on annual growth objectives

• Continue the evolution of the brand identity and curate the company’s story through all available channels

• Leverage research, customer journeys and personas to inform annual strategic and tactical plan

• Responsible for all marketing assets, communications, and execution that elevates and improve outcomes, including: Digital Marketing, Events, Company Website, Social Media, Advertising, Syndicated Content, Analyst Relations, PR, Partner Marketing

• Provide guidance on digital campaign strategies and account-based marketing programs

• Collaborate with Sales leadership to define prospect journey and content strategy to accelerate funnel progression from prospects to a marketing qualified lead to client conversion

• Provide guidance on marketing positioning, messaging, competitive differentiation, and sales assets to ensure sales and marketing organization collaborate seamlessly

• Define thought leadership agenda and agency content development – whitepapers, article bylines, blogs, case studies, speaking submissions, awards

• Ensure marketing decisions and investments are analytically based on business intelligence, segmentation, and insights

• Provide guidance on evaluating marketing events including identification of speaking opportunities to expand thought leadership as well as opportunities for lead generation

• Manage and proactively engage with industry analysts to advance the brand recognition and company position

• Experience with Forrester, Gartner, Sirius Decisions preferred

• Ensure successful partner co-marketing programs and partner relations connected to joint business objectives

• Integrate marketing/sales tools and technology to improve marketing operations and reporting

• Continue to scale a high-performance marketing organization

• Manage internal and external resources for marketing initiatives as well as suppliers required to support marketing deliverables

• Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Communications, or relevant field

• Master’s degree a plus

• 12+ years of experience in B2B Marketing

• Experience as a marketing leader in a SaaS organization is strongly preferred
